Our first drive...

We meet Mikey at 12 pm perfect time. The wind is strong and it has been raining on and off. Our first order of business is to get Sarah a sweater. She left her warm clothes at the Bahama hotel.  Traveling is stressful and more so when you are only staying a night somewhere. We were given the Habana Libre hotel which has stores. The hotel is where Castro ran the revolution out of the early days.

We see Mikey outside and hugs, warm greeting and Beny More begin our day. He has his convertible 1953 Buick with him.  It is a little cold with the top down but we deal with it and go looking for a sweater.  We have a streak of good fortune as Sarah finds an awesome water resistant, good looking 3/4 trench coat ----perfect for blocking wind.

I ask Mikey to take us to Fidel's cigar store. The store has excellent coffee as well. I buy some cigars for friends and then we are off to the Revolution Museum. I have been here but wanted Sarah to enjoy the museum. Havana seems so much more crowded this time as traffic is slow.  We have a great time at he museum but now we are tired. Mikey picked us up some bottled water cheaply and we went back to the hotel.

The night was raining and we ate and drank in the hotel.
